Victoria Conran

Lic.Ac; MBAcC; CHM; BA (Hons); MA

Since qualifying from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine 1997, I have been treating the health and wellbeing of my patients for over 25 years. During this time my practice has expanded to incorporate Chinese Herbal Medicine, the bodywork methods of Tuina, exercise and movement using Qigong. My background as a chef naturally leaned me towards Chinese Dietary Therapy. These form the structure of my acupuncture practice. Treatment is tailored to each individual according to their presentation.

In 2000 I completed an MA in Medical Anthropology focusing research on miscarriage care provision and lead to a dissertation presented at IASTAM conference, Bhutan in 2010.

I trained in Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine under Professor Huang Huang in Nanjing from 2008, Dr Feng Shi Lun in Beijing from 2014 and Dr. Frances Turner PhD in 2016. I travelled to China in 2010 and 2016 with Dr Suzanne Robidoux and made several study trips to the USA. I completed my Advanced Chinese Herbal Medicine Apprenticeship in 2019 and Classical Chinese Medicine mentorship in 2024.

I continue to study, practice and teach Qi Gong, Daoyin exercise and breath work.

I encourage my patients to explore these practices towards living long and living well in physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and health.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy with Margaret Capon 'I sought help with the executive function issues associated with dyslexia, dyscalculia and possible ADHD in order to be in the best place to study for a professional qualification whilst working. I found the results of working with Margaret to be incredible. I can quantify how much my function has improved and how much better I am at dealing with distraction, mental blocks, prioritisation and meeting deadlines without drama. The focus I have been able to achieve without going into exhausting hyperfocus has been unprecedented and I've been able to meet some tough objectives but also remembered to take breaks. It has been a joy to work with a practitioner who has an understanding of empathy with the neurodiverse functioning mind. The positive effect on all aspects of life have been such a boost And have freed up time and mental capacity. A huge thank you! Very much appreciated and happy travels! NP
